When deciding to use sauna we consider mainly the health benefits. Recently published 20-year study results prove that regular use of sauna reduces the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by as much as 50%! All it takes is using sauna 4-7 times a week on condition that the inside temperature oscillates around 79 centigrade and humidity is about 10%.
Owing to this research we can learn the mechanisms which cause sauna to:
– increase the body’s stamina when used after training
– boost our mood
– improve the heart rate
– decrease blood pressure
– prevent cardiovascular diseases
– reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease
We kindly invite you to read the interview with Jari Laukkanen, M.D., Ph.D. and the article on the research results.
